We moved!!

Sorry it has taken me soooo long to post. We have been really busy because we moved! We used to live in Salt Lake in a apartment. The problem? Well, there were a couple. The neighborhood was kind of bad. We were about 2 blocks from Rose Park, which I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this, but it's kind of the ghetto. We had our cars broken into 3 times total. We both love Magna, and we were spending a lot of gas money to come back and forth so many times. Also, we didn't want to spend another winter there because last year we pretty much froze. Our heating bill cost us $130.00 one month and we only ran the heat for about 4 hours a day. We turned it down at night and snuggled up with tons of blankets. The last reason is because we want to save for a house, but trying to go to school, work full time, pay bills, pay rent, and try to save is pretty much impossible. So we are now living in my parent's basement which hopefully soon will be an apartment. The first pictures are of our old apartment, and the last one are of the new...apartment.

Our dinning room. Our apartment used to be two apartments and then they combined them. So we had two bathrooms, two bedrooms, two "living rooms", and two front doors. One of the kitchens was converted into another bedroom. It was kind of a weird layout. The best is when some people from some church came to talk to us, and once we finally got them to go away they started to go to our other door thinking that someone else lived there. They looked really confused when we told them that that was still our door. I'm not sure they fully believed us.

Our living room. We got our couches off of KSL and I love them. They are microfiber so I wasn't too worried if they were dirty or not. If it wasn't for KSL, we would have no furniture. We got our couches, table, chairs, entertainment center, TV, and our bed frame off of it. Oh, and our bird. KSL rocks!!

The hallway. You can see at the very end of it there is a dark square. That is covering up the hole that my brother made when he chased my sister Amy down the hall with a vacuum.

This will be the living room. My dad is standing where the bathroom will be. It is going to be tiled this weekend. Yeay!
